For maximum flexibility take advantage of FREE one way drop offs applicable only on compact category cars & above. E.g. your car hire will commence in one location and will terminate in another; this is only available at selected destinations. All other locations will incur a one way drop off fee which varies according to the destinations, fees range between $50.00 – $500.00 US dollars. When driving in the US it is essential to be adequately insured. In order to be adequately protected we recommend you purchase the Collision Damage Waiver and Extended Protection included in our Gold Package Option.
Extended Protection (EP) provides up to $1m for claims made against authorised drivers of the rental vehicle for automobile related third party injury/death and property damage. In addition it gives $1m coverage for accidental death or injury to the authorised renter(s) or passengers should they be hit by an uninsured or underinsured driver.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) protects you against damage to or loss of your Alamo car, as long as the terms of the rental contract are not violated.
Insurance can be purchased locally but for your convenience, and for savings of up to £50 on a 2-week holiday, we recommend you pre-purchase our insurance options before you go.
Pre-book our Gold option to pre-purchase up to 3 extra drivers and a tank of fuel, in addition to Taxes, CDW and EP.
